Try a) restarting your computer? Believe it or not it occasionally fixes random things.
b) using Firefox or Chrome instead of Internet Explorer?

When I get serious Java problems such as those you are having I just completely uninstall all Java, then go to the website and get a fresh install. It works every time :P Also, use Firefox :)
It's impossible to figure out what the problem could be without being there.
Yeah, I uninstalled and reinstalled but still got it... and yeah the laptop's restarted twice... I have to use Internet Explorer because it's not only me that uses this laptop...
I'm playing it on standard detail instead and now it hasn't done it for half an hour... hopefully it works this way... lol... this never happened before... only after the updates yesterday...lol
