scimitars - middle eastern decent (persia and such) curved blades good for slashing in curved strokes. samurai tend to use katana and wakasashi, and other swords of japanese decent.
yeah so i guess it is thats good because i already put it in my powerpoint. instructions for project was to creat a project about the weapons of the middle ages so it didnt say who needed to use them
