nope i still believe in the old pick a name and make it famous, or infamous as it maybe in some cases, style.

Nah, I don't like my name, but it's part of what my RS character is.
Jagex is approaching this in entirely the wrong way.
I think it'd be better if we could change the name NPC's refer to us as; it's simple. Instead of "Gerard244390", I'll be called "Gerard".
Our friends and fellow users should always see our usernames, however. Character names should be something different.
We'll see how their idea goes though... =/
Gerard, some people really hate their name, and just having NPCs calling you something different isn't going to do anything about it.
