How will slayer tasks raise magic? I use melee for almost all of my tasks.

Oh? Well, I haven't had them as a task yet. I use Summona for everything that isn't a multiple of 10.

Oh, I also forgot to add I use my Fire titan for tasks that I can do in multi combat area's, they attack with a Magic melee so I get Magic xp from them.
