Looks pretty much exactly like karil's crossbow.
yeah it does sorta..maybe karils bow will be diff too.

yeah, that guard has always fired differently because it's not a normal crossbow...
So much for leaked.
no it was regular before.
I fought it while i was firemaking a few times, it was the same and that was about 6 months ago.
considering that's the old crossbow animation from years ago when there was only 3 different ones (crossbow, phoenix's crossbow, and karil's) if i recall...
