Do many people buy the Daily Seaweed from Arhein in Catherby? He sells 80 Seaweed and 40 Pineapples to you each day but they do not build up. You can also buy Battlestaves in varrock. #n00bz #RandomEvents

I have built up over 1000 seaweed just from buying then each day. Probably never use them, but I suppose it doesn't cost much to buy them each day (2gp Each) in case I ever decide I need them.
get sand from bert and have a blast with molten glass, good cash or fast craft xp
