Finished three quests: Death to the Dorgeshuun, The Giant Dwarf and Another Slice of HAM. Now I should be all set for the God Wars trip ;D
Could do with a shield, but I haven't a clue what to use.

I take it this will be the inventory after you teleport to Trollheim (Don't forget the drop technique)
As for a shield, a defender or preferably a granite/rune shield will be fine.
Rune or Dragon boots would help as well...(same with gloves/gaunts)
At any rate, with such a large team I expect we can stay there for quite some time without any difficulty.
