yes, if your aim is the lumberjack clothing merely take the easiest route and evade all encounter events that you can except the bridge without trees.
otherwise u'll need to take the ivandis flail, druid pouches, knife, prayer armor. also give 15 lobsters to the person you escorting refilling them as needed.
good things to pick up on the route are :
perfect snail shells
snake skins - knife on the dead swamp snakes
talon beast charms
nail beast nails
