I was reported in runewire's cc for saying I loved runewire so far...meaning the group of people I had met, not the website. That is just insane. (Y) Way to welcome new members!

You should have seen this week's posts regarding something similar. Not pretty.
Wow that's fucking retarded.
Does anyone know who's the one reporting?

Nope. I wish...

I'm appealing it. I was referring to the group/clan i was under the belief I had just joined, not this site. I just said runewire, not runewire.com. This is my first offense ever, and its ridiculous
The reporter is a jerk. Getting loyal and new members muted for mentioning a fansite WE SHARE doesn't benefit anyone, and if it gets serious we might actually lose some members.
Take a screenshot of the offense?
Not that reporting this is right, but you'd think you'd learn not to say runewire in game after the millionth person muted XD
Ya because someone who just joined today should know that you could get muted for saying runewire in game?
I just joined today Power Crazy...so I wasn't aware of the other people who were reported. I was literally a runewire member for less than an hour when this happened
You just joined today? That shouldn't affect of the reading of the runescape rules
Since I was referring to the group and not the site I did not break a rule
@Owen I dunno how to add an image here and I dont want to make a new post for it, but this is the offense http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/2382/screenshot040.png

Runewire isn't a group, it's a subsite to the main site. Saying Runewire is against the rules because you can easily search it up and it's the first thing that comes up. http://runewire.rsbandb.com
There are plenty of groups whose names can be searched and their site is the first thing that comes up in a search engine. I was told I was being invited to join the group, and I was welcomed by
several people here to the "group" I did not come here via another site...but it doesnt matter. I did not reference a website. I did not say to go to a site or add .com therefore it wasnt advertising
well just appeal it and explain ur point. idk who would report like that. just appeal to jagex, stay humble, and im sure it will be appealed
say "rw" for runewire, say B&B for "rsbandb", say "b&b forums" for rsbandb's forums :)
again.. wow, all of a sudden there's been at least 3 or 4 people that got muted for saying RuneWire -.- ..

join me in the fight to end this injustice l0l because everyone else's appeal was denied and i suppose yours will be too. Rant, message jagex in it's various forms etc
It's not Jagex's fault, really.
Whoever's reporting people should be banned on the spot if we ever find their identity though.
It's really easy to blame others but in the end you have to take responsibility for your own actions
I placed no blame on anyone else, but the facts are still there that what I did was not breaking a rule. I was invited to a group I was told was called runewire, and i said the groups name not site.
Just because a group also has a website doesn't make it breaking a rule to say the groups name in game. I didn't say "site"...or add ".com" to it. It was clear I was talking about the people.
I won't be responding to this here anymore because its all really silly. But if what i did was wrong then no group or clan would be able to say their name in game.
Whether or not you were referring to RuneWire as group, it is also the name of the site and you have to keep that in mind.
Why is the person who is reporting people... Well... Reporting people? What's the point? It's not like there's a lesson to be learnt. (Besides the fact that some people are just jerks)
Lol, have we hit 10 muted people yet?
We're doing what we can to make sure these incidents do not continue to occur, but there's really not a lot that we can do. It's a real shame that people have to go and do this. :(
