Awww. Man, I wanna go to the HL2:DM tonight. Any way I can trick Windows into having an ATI or Nvidia graphics card?

No. And you would have needed to have downloaded it quite a while ago.. It's a 1.6gb download.
Just get someone else who has an ATI/NVIDIA card to sign up your account. Or do it at a library, etc.
I found this program on the internet once (before I got W7) when I was googling this problem. It could alter your graphic's name, manufacturer and stuff.
I couldn't use it on XP so I discarded it.
That was a mistake.
Btw, libraries here don't have Steam, they only have OpenOffice and Adobe Reader, and of course, IE6.
