Can't upgrade from XP, remember. Not that you'd want to drag all of the crapware up and cause problems anyway.

Windows 7 is great. Been using it as my main OS since October of 2008, starting with build 6801 and progressively moving up the build ladder. If your computer isn't crap, you'll love it!
I know, I've never tried Vista on this thing before, and I've heard your positive comments about it, and I think I'm gonna love W7. Thanks!

They say that W7 is much easier to use than Windows Vista and more advanced with more compatibility and stuff...
Try using the compatibility checker, scan it, see if programs
will have any trouble running it.
