How does the Evil Tree work exactly?

From what Ive heard and read, an evil tree comes in each world every 2 hours in 1 of 26 preset spots on the map. You have the choice to nurture(farming XP), cut(woodcutting XP), or burn(firemaking XP)
To get hints on where the next evil tree will be, you can talk to a spirit tree. Also there are different types of trees-normal to elder, elder requiring higher levels and yielding more xp.
I am not exactly sure on this information, it's just what I've read from the forums
the spirit tree doesn't mention anything about it until it's already sprouting.
you can do all 3 things to them twice a day.
to kill it you chop the roots then light the base of the tree on fire.
the roots will knock you back and stun you while your trying to chop down the tree. more work you do the bigger the reward but unlike stars u cant save it til it's maxed b4 collecting.
unless your planning to be standing near the spirit trees for awhile alching or what not they are mostly a waste of time.
they are roughly 2 hours apart ±½ an hour just like stars.
