Well, it's been a good day. I sold my guitar on ebay and I've found an iBook G4 on ebay that i'm going to buy. It has a CDRW/DVD drive, which isn't in stock iBook's. Needless to say, I can't wait.

Okay, let my solve this life long debate mathematically.
Windows + internet = virus
Mac + internet = Run Escape
PC + 2 years of use = zOmg! lag!
Mac + eternity = yay!
Vista = Ph4iL
OSX = art.
mac ftw, great graphics system! Graphic designers like myself go wild for macs.
Oh ya, i forgot.
PC + photoshop = WTF!? Why doesn't this work like the Mac?

More accurately:
Windows + porn or just plain stupidity = virus
It is slightly shameful to admit but if you know what you're doing, Windows works. Especially Windows 7. ;]

actually its been tested that mac is better with graphics than windows no matter if u really know how to work windows. all graphic designers choose mac as best to work on.
You'd have to be doing some pretty hard core stuff to notice any difference though, lol.
Considering this is a G4, I wouldn't be pushing it too hard with anything in the first place.

As a graphic designer, i totally agree mac is better.
So long as Windows retains its unrivalled market control over Apple, OSX will never satisfy a power user like myself. It is the sad truth, as I know at the core it's a superior OS.
As a hobbyist web designer and occasional employed graphic designer (who, in such a situation, uses iMacs most of the time), OSX doesn't work for me. But if you do like Macs, by all means use them. :P
That's only because that's all you have used your entire life... Mac is just easier to use, and also, all of those nifty apps you can get for it are nice :o
well its not about liking to use it, its about wuts best to use while designer and mac comes on top whether u like it or not.
There is no such thing as a PC in my house :D

Any-who, couldn't ask for more.. Great for school, music, video, not so much for runescape, but it gets by.

it's just what you're used to, if you're used to working with macs, macs are better, if you're used to work with a pc, a pc is better ;-)
