did you accidentally delete the driver for you sound card?
try using the device manager to update the driver for it

The beep when you make an error is not coming out from the sound drivers. Try system restore, or reloading the drivers if you know what to do. Hopefully you can do that. If not then well..Learn how.

I use a program that updates my drivers automatically, but yeah, I agree with what everyone else said. :p

Did you check audio control from your control panel interface? My sound randomly shuts off too, sometimes, and it works.

I know that the beep that you are hearing is the internal speakers.

Lolz, i got it guys...I was going into my processes everytime i restarted my computer and keep getting rid of the sound one on accident.
