Uh..Actually, as far as I know, they DO count as slayer monsters...I usually kill the ones near the prayer alter when I get a monkey task.
Are you sure? When I fight them, i don't get slayer exp.
Hmm I 'm glad they are starting to give more personally responses instead of there crappy auto-ed messages.
