Never seem to get anywhere. Like, new islands are never unlocked. Read abunch on the wiki it seems this is intended to be something you check every X time every day for months. Kinda sad.

Yea, starting to get the hang of it now. Always thought it went fairly fast since I see so many people with the gear. Guess they just started on day one and have done it constantly since.
yea starting on day one let a lot of players in the previous max region with nothing else to do but collect all the scrolls & gather trade goods to profit off of their port.
