I don't think time's should be invested to bring the old models back into the game. If it's an easy job then go for it but otherwise no.

@Shane, this didn't mention bringing old models back, it's about expanding Gielinor.
@Duck, that's unfortunate. I hope Jagex takes a look at this thread, the players have some great ideas.
