Umm, honest question:
What EXACTLY do gold farmers do to get gold?
People on the Official RS forums are saying they make it out of thin air, we all know that's impossible.
How do they acquire GP?

If they're serious, they have 10, probably more bots. They run them all at once farming a traditional gp source. (green dragons, LRC, etc...)
How does that give them 'Coins'? LRC don't drop Coins and Green Dragons only give 11-440 Coins as a possible drop.
I don't think it's so much the fact that they make "new" money, but the fact that they take valuable resources and flood the market with them. Obviously, prices end up shooting down which is (cont.)
the largest ill of the economy. Honestly, I don't see where they got those numbers for how go is "put into the game." Regardless of it's validity, I support the move more for a safer economy.
everytime any player or bot gathers anything it brings new items into the market all of which have a gp value.
2ndly the amount of players alching unneeded things also accumulates as no one uses any of the money sinks that jagex adds to the game ever.
So Gold Farmers don't make coins out of thin air, in fact they don't even gather coins, right?
They gather resources which are in turn sold to players via the GE for coins, correct?
Yeah, I guess, but I have a feeling there's something more we're missing... It doesn't help that none of us are goldfarmers :P
