Gave EOC a try with slayer. Loved how I absolutely dominated blue drags. Black demons use magic now? Makes sense, oh, I can't hit for crap while wearing armor that protects against mage..
Final verdict: Neat little toy, but to cause any significant damage you need to constantly pay attention and press buttons. Not good for a game about grinding. I'll stick to 07, fewer random numbers.
Levy, Momentum will bring it back to almost as good as 07. I usually use it and combat runs fine. As for equipment, it is VERY annoying that they force you to use/not use certain stuff.Very restrictiv
Momentum is great and all, but is there some way I can get the spec on my Enhanced Excalibur back? That's probably the one thing I miss the most. I don't even notice whatever healing this new EE does.
The EE has a chance to heal 2% of your max LP. I've noticed this doesn't happen often. As for specials, no. They are gone forever. Abilities are the prescribed replacement.
No. The only way to get new abilities is to raise your att/str/def/mage/range or do The World Wakes. I assume future quests will give abilities and mostlikely you will be able to buy from the store.
the EE's effect doesn't land very often because it only has a chance to land on the basic auto attacks not abilities. so it is more likely to work when your using momentum and just sitting there.
