Is that saying HTML5 is making your GPU run ~30 degrees hotter?
What did you use to test this on?
Never-mind.... I see that the beta is out.
Aaron could you post a high quality vid of the HTML5?
30% Hotter :( Me no like.
Not sure if I'm allowed to post a video.
You should live stream it, It doesn't say anywhere in the rules you can't make videos.
As far as i know, there was no NDA. However, Jagex is requesting to hold off on videos until the client is complete.

lmfao did you post this on hlf yet?
Wow, 30% is a fairly significant amount. I thought HTML5 was supposed to be more efficient? Hopefully it will be on release.

It's gonna be way better, I don't think any computer was running the max settings smoothly.
My idea exactly, I thought making it "efficient" would make things run cooler.
But what do you have the graphics on? Try having the "equivalent" of Java. (if there is such an opinion.)
The options are really limited. Feels like everything has bloom on, really bright. Don't like it.
If HTML5 uses your graphics card to render, SHOULDN'T it run hotter?
Tal, how does it run(speed, heat, performance) vs a known high end game?
Beta sucks atm only around 20fps with high turned off.
