Also a few things that I noticed: There are 14 spots on that action bar, so we get 2 more than we already have, and the interface shows action bar #7, so we get more of those as well :D

That's like what I did in a design mockup last year!! :D :D It's time to move forward, the current RS interface is an extension of the interface created in 2004. There are better ways now.

We all have to be honest and say that Jagex does get ideas from wow. without any outside resources it would be hard to keep up. The company would probably be dead if they were still 07scape.

Because in my experience interfaces like what is pictured there are cumbersome and more complicated than necessary.

The entire point of the new system is that it is both possible to get the info-cluster style interface from high level WoW play, as well as the old classical runescape feel, depending on what you want

Zant, I guarantee you, within two years, that pic you posted will be a required UI setup in RS. Mark my words.
It is sad to see Runescape turn into "Just another MMO game". No uniqueness anymore.

Sure it was unique before, but unique in a negative way. It was a game of how fast you can navigate the interface with mainly 2 different methods.

Ok, this conflict has gone too far, we are going to have to agree to disagree. Therefore, I am done commenting on this post.
We can agree to disagree.
The first few years I played it was not about navigating the UI. It was unique because no other game played like it did and it was very popular *because* of that.
