Just want to say, if Jagex charges $5 extra for OSRS, they will be FORCED to give it PRIORITY over 2013. This is because the OSRS players will be pay $13 vs 2013s paying $8. Money dictates.

If you prefer unhindered updates to 2013, vote in the poll to reach 500k. Then Jagex can put OSRS on the backburner like F2P.

It doesn't force them to do anything. They are charging you for an extra service on top of what you pay to keep the main game updated.

Sadly enough, I have a feeling they won't make it any higher priority even if they charge the extra $5.

Not in the slightest. They're paying $8 for real RuneScape, but they're only paying $5 for access to the 2007 servers. $5 for access to the 2007 servers < $8 for membership cost for real RuneScape.

$8 is membership to both games, and OSRS would be an additional $5. So jason is right, $13 vs $8. they don't sell membership to only OSRS, so the only way is buying normal membership then $5 more.
Question, Can someone buy access to the 2007Server and not the main game?
No. Currently you must pay $7.99 for normal game members and then you'd have to pay an additional $5 for OSRS. Total of $12.99

that's if we don't get 480k votes by Friday, which will be somewhat close.

I was kidding, y'all >_>
I was mocking the situation at hand
Play the current one if you want new content. Play the old one if you want to experience RuneScape as it was in 2007.
That sucks... I only want to play on the 2007 server :( I don't want to play $13 a month for both...
