So, what's the best abilities combination for my preset bar thing? Only interested to what suits training slayer. & It's for melee.

Do you want single target shield? Single target dual wielding? Or multi target 2h?
Um, single target dual wielding. I'll be bringing along a shield for the defensive abilities too, seems like that's best anyways.
for monsters that are weak to slash, 2 hander build is the way to go. the AOE makes it a lot lot faster. duel wield will primarily be stab since very little weapons actually crush.
unless you are slaying high level monsters, don't bother with a shield. you'll be faster just by duel wielding or using 2hander. magic use staff, double crossbow.

Actually trekkie, dual wield slash weapons is a better option for slayer, since most slayer monsters have low-ish defense. You do not need the accuracy of a 2h, so faster hits are better.

But 2h weapons are definately best for crush weak monsters, simply because the only one handed crush weapon I can think of is a dragon mace, which is kind of suckish
