Out of personal experience, which would you prefer, AMD FX series processor, or Intel i(3, 5, 7)? Also, sorry for so many computer related questions.

Would that be by a long shot, or just slightly? Cause the price difference is pretty significant, and if it's only slightly better, might be worth taking out a bit of luxury.

Long shot. The only time I'd use AMD is when I have a < $500 budget or am just building something for internet/email.

I do have quite a tight budget, around $800 for the whole system (No monitor). After all other parts, I leave like $260 until I hit $800. So basically, I need the best processor I can get for ~$260

You can build an awesome computer with $800. Stick with intel to make it more awesome. Intel > AMD
