C vs C++? Which should I learn to get a grasp of programming. or is their another language that would be a good starting place

Although I hate Java, it is your best bet for starting to program. c and cpp are very advanced if your just learning.

@Halodude108 HTML is not a programming language, it is simply markup. It pains to here people (my comp-sci teacher) call it a programming language.

I did a little bit of C++ and then went to Java. You get the same principles from both but Java is a little nicer.
