Just got 91 smithing. For those of you who care/are wondering I am smithing mithril ingots ii.
They give a nice balance between cost and xp. Also, 75-99 smithing cost me 117M plus change.

Burial armour.
And addy plates are only faster not cheaper, addy plates would have cost me alot more, besides I've found this is what works best for me.

Cost wasn't the determining factor, if it were, then, by all means i would have done cannonballs to 99, I wanted to take a month to get 99 smithing in a manageable way, with little effort on my part.
And, you've done a tremendous job of grinding the rest of us into the dust LOL :) Gratz Allta. As for me, just got 98 smith... doing rune legs with ore that I bought a long time ago.
