two slots, it could mess things up. I understand that it must be DDR2 for both of them but if one set was pc6400 and the other was pc8500, would that screw anything up?
In most cases, the two should work together as long as both pairs are the same. Though, all the memory would run at the same speed, so the higher speed memory runs underclocked.
