Government controlled by religion is stupid IMO. Two gay people who love each other have more of a reason to marry than two people who end up hating one another.
Marriage isn't an agreement to have kids, though. Marriage is a promise to be together, and to love. Obviously a touchy subject, but it needs to be addressed.
That's what I find annoying about religion. That they think their religion is right and all the others are wrong. What gives the religious the right to decide weather atheists can marry or not?
