I'm on a laptop and I'm running RS on all max. It all depends on the hardware that's in your particular laptop. Basically if your "graphics" card is an Intel integrated you won't run it well.
If you're going to get a laptop and then just play RS, mightaswell save money and not go Mac unless you're really rich. Cuz even if it's someone else money you just end up regretting big ticket purcha
