Ground is flashing whenever I run and I want to know why, is it the new Java update or what? Please explain in non-technological terms pleaaaaaaaaase.

Yes. You need Java 1.6 update 10 (I think)
I went to download that and it said this:
"You have the recommended Java installed (Version 6 Update 29)."
The ground is still flickering though..
It might be your graphics card/settings
Okay I looked on Forums, it was the Lighting graphics, have to be on High.
Atleast your ground didn't go completely black like mine. I fixed it on accident though.
