Anyone ever fixed a YLOD on a PS3 and have any idea how hard it is to fix?
And could people with PS3's post how much of the HDD they have used?

Well the YLOD is the way the PS3 tells you that there is something wrong with hardware. It doesn't actually tell you WHAT is failing. Send it back to Sony, or call their customer service

and I've used 40/40GB.. just installed a 500GB HDD, 406GB usable :)

Oh okay, I asked about the YLOD cos the majority of PS3's on trademe (New Zealand Ebay) have some sort of fault with them.
