Can you sell back the dungeoneering items you buy from the rewards guy? Because tbh, i've never bought any items (yet :D)

The only thing you can "sell", so to speak, is the Ring of Kinship. You have a one time reset of the ring. Other than that, when it's bought, there is no turning back.
