It's all done within facebooks servers which most of us upload photos to anyway. It doesn't change their security... Don't believe everything you read
Facebook's data has been compromised before. You could imagine all kinds of situations where the matching up of photos through facial recognition could come back to haunt you.....
Here's another link with info on this issue, with instructions on how to disable this feature in your privacy settings. What's bad is that is enabled by default.
