I wonder what kind of "affilate revenue's" they will get from promoting facebook. Everyone who logs in now has to look at that facebook logo, unless you can disable it somehow.
I liked Jagex a lot more before they started with all of this facebook crap.
The facebook login thing on the front page just makes me want to strangle someone. It is also on the login screen >.>

I could go into great detail about how this is both a good and terrible idea, but I only have 200 characters to work with here.

I'm not familiar with how facebook works. Does this mean that if you logged in to Runescape, your boss or teacher would be able to see an update to your status, telling them you were playing, lol

Doesn't look like it. So far it looks like it only acts as a second way to log in. A one-click-log-in sort of thing. Though it does have the potential to post things to your wall, which is unsettling.

Of course, you can just go into the Privacy settings and revoke its abillity to post to your wall, which is a plus to Facebook I guess. My friends don't need to know every time I level up mining.
@Eddie: How does it ruin your reputation? Everyone has their own different games they play, and maybe if people exposed how awesome the communities like RSBandB are, people would give RS more respect!
