There's a difference between profanity and racial slurs, though. And being black or asian or whatever you are doesn't grant you permission to use hurtful words, especially if you're a bloody mod.
And it doesn't matter who called who what, Trekkie is supposed to be a standard for people to follow, not some petty tit for tat kid.
I guess trekkie could've just replied with I'm not black.

I agree that that particular word didn't need to be used, especially by a mod. But I'm sure he didn't mean any racial offense by it either...

Well, in all honesty there isn't anything wrong with what you're showing us here.

Profanity is accepted but racial slurs are still a mutable offense. It has nothing to do with the profanity filter and has no place in the game. Ever.
