Hi all tech savvy lads, I need to "repair my system files"... As apparently I have a few that are corrupt... I cannot find the Windows Vista installation disk ANYWHERE... Any ideas?

Been researching... Would uninstalling then re-installing Vista SP2 work? btw the error code is Code 80070490
Maybe you can make a System Repair Disk. I dunno, it may work.
A System Repair Disk as in making one in my CD drive with a CD? or on an external hard drive?
Oh ok, I will look around for a CD, what size does it need to be?
I have no clue, but I just looked through my CDs, the repair disc was burnt on a DVD-R. :S
Ok, I guess I'll go do some more research... still looking for more ideas. I have already tried in cmd sfc /scannow and right now I'm installing the Hotfix for Windows (KB947821)
I created a System Repair disk... Much to my avail, it didn't work... I'm going to try to just install the updates now... Then I'll retry the Hotfix for Windows again.. (stopped halfway last time)
FIXED :d:d:d:d I just system restore'd back to before uninstalling a beta game I should have never installed :P (Ace of Spades is beyond glitchy)
