Why can't they do something cool like this in New York City. (oh I know, because the river is a stinky polluted mess)

u say that like most other major city waterways aren't a polluted mess as well.
I only mentioned New York City because it's one of the place's I think would be cool to visit both by water and land. By water doesn't seem like the best idea though because of pollution.
