I lose faith in my generation on a daily basis due to the garbage they listen to, this is what real music sounds like.

Meh, not my music, but I don't listen to that pop/rap crap. What's up with random picture BTW? 0_o
It's the album cover, a very strange one, but the album cover none the less.

Looks like it could be from a horror movie or something. 0_o
Explain how your taste in music is better than anybody else's.
Mainstream artists in modern day music do everything for profit, their music has no passion, no emotion and does everything for the betterment of themselves. When an artist genuinely cares about their
^ music and what they incorporate into it, that is music. When tens of millions of people listen to the "Sex, Drugs and Money" lyrics that the radios play, they become desensitized to it and lose
^ appreciation for the artists that care about their music. It's depressing to see, people are becoming more subjective to it by the day.

explain how every mainstream artist is in it for the money.. i know alot of bands that go out of their way for the fans and put their passion into the music.. one artist for example is Sully Erna
^ Sully Erna is not a bad artist, and neither are all the mainstream artists, but there is a large majority of artists in it for the money.
I.E Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Drake, Eminem, Disney Bands etc.
^Several of these artists (Eminem for example) quit making music, but keep making music because of large recording contracts.

Obviously no passion or emotion. Also clearly done for the money. 100% sex, drugs and money.
Oh wait....the fact is your music isn't the best for everyon
People don't have the same life as you, and different types of music can have different effects on different people.
Also, I first heard your song a year ago and liked it, but I also listen to rap.
Don't stereotype a genre of music just because you don't like some of its artists, songs or lyrics.

I see what you're getting at, mate, but it's rather hard to pile a bunch of artists into a category such as this and hold a solid argument.
If you don't like it, don't listen to it. I don't see why people care so much about what others listen to. I wouldn't criticize someone just because they LIKE something, after all.
brb.
Recording death metal version of OP's post.
@We Honk Me www.metrolyrics.com/crack-a-bottle-lyrics-eminem.html He had passion in this too?
The only point i'm trying to make is music is starting to become a buisness, not an artform. Which in
^ turn, creates more artists that don't want to make their own music. There is a very large amount of mainstream artists who don't write their own lyrics, so the "Sex, Drugs, Money" lyrics written
^ by the recording studios goes mainstream instantly. The artists who genuinely love their music don't get noticed. By no means is my taste in music better than anyone else's, but alot of artists
^ don't get the recognition they deserve (Sun kil moon). Sorry for the spamfest. =P
