Basically, it's a new Guild/Minigame. Once you get a certain amount of respect, you can "pimp" your cannon. There is also one with encrusted jewels.

THIS is the big Smithing update they were hinting about? This is pathetic... I was hoping for some kind of redoing of the skill entirely, not just some random place I will never go to. :(
