Here's my advice... Don't get scamed. Its hard now to get scamed but assuming that you where ignorant to the tactic used I will add this: don't go around asking for handouts. It doesn't get you....
Anywhere. Plus.. It makes you look really bad. What you should do: suck it up, hop back on your feet, brush yourself off, grab you axe/hatchet/fishing rod/, get your OWN money the hard way.
In the end you will feel alot better. You will train a few skills in the process and mabey gain a few gp. And it feels alot better when you make the money yourself rather than taking handouts.
I also want to say sorry for the post before. Quite in a bad mood today and when I see bull shit... Gets my mad. Anyway. I do wish you the best of luck and I hope you take my advice.
