I don't think it forces guide mode unless you just started dung also you will be doing c1 for the majority of floors eventually like 1-25 (if 35 is your max)
and the -54% is the total modifier 50% for c1 + 4% for guide mode. tho at a mere 500xp per floor it still puzzles me y people dont do c6 smalls for rushing. nearly as fast for an easy 5k - 10k+ xp
