Has anyone else seen a sticker from the state board of education in their biology textbooks stating that "evolution is only a theory and must not be taken as fact"?
Funny as I was just watching some science show and my Dad made some silly remark and it got me thinking also -- but it is true; evolution *is* only a theory because there is no more plausible
explanation at present, there is substantial evidence to support it (enough that it can be taught, clearly) but nothing that proves it to be fact. Likewise, creation is only a theory... except
Interestingly enough I probably personally believe more in some kind of amalgamation of creation with evolution, but I still acknowledge that scientifically it is groundless. *shrug*
