All of those who voted yes stop and think... Do you really want this? Don't just jump on the bandwagon. Is pk'ing really that important to jeopardize runescape as a whole to rwt? All of those in...

favor to free trade; why!? Shouldn't a person work to make their money. If you see a 'rich' person with free trade the assumption is to be made that he rwt'd... I don't understand whats wrong with

It's all too quick for me. I don't think it's being carried out the right way. Seems like something too important to turn over to the players.
Listen to Episode 288 :)
what we have. All of your pk'ers seem content. We don't have to worry about rwt. Bots have been SIGNIFICANTLY reduced.
Yet people are so willingly to just throw this all away.
;) will be listing when I go to bed tonight. Looking forward.
Good points, particularly the one about people having to work to make their money, but Jagex's confidence that they can keep the RWT/bot issue under wraps has me convinced.
Not necessarily sure about all of the pkers seeming content though, why do you think that? :O
But let's be honest. People will find a way to bot no matter what they do. Jagex thinks they have it under control now yet I know tons of people who bot and get away with it to this day. And with the
Free trade it'll just encourage these botters more causing them to go up exponentially.
I wasn't trying to say all of the pk'ers are content but I know many loyal pk'ers who are content currently
Gotcha on the part that not all are content, of course ;). Unfortunately, you're right about the bots, but I personally feel convinced that they can do it this time with their new software.
You do have to remember most of Jagex's 'detection software' doesn't actually exist. It's almost completely based on players reporting the bots. They can only accurately detect set script macros.

RWT still exists in the current system. It's probably harder to detect now with the companies logging on to customers' accounts rather than detecting one person giving away tons of money, aka the old

trade system. Jagex can look at these accounts giving away the large sums of money and tell that they are RWT'ing, especially since the gold selling companies probably use bots to obtain their money.

Bots haven't even be significantly reduced nor has RWT XD
And yes. This is too important of a decision to turn it over to players. Making the decision that affects their enjoyment? Absurd!

Jagex would have done this anyways but now they cant be put under fire for adverse affects.
I voted no tho. nonpvp forced into pvp and will start banning for rwt again = innocent players banned again
Warren, do you remember what it was like at willow trees in a f2p? Or the flax field in p2p. It was redicilus...
And doom you have a point. That's a good way to look at it.
But meh.
^bots and rwt'er are what shaped the economy of the game the most with their endless piles of cash, and it's how it'll be once again.
Nice posts I voted no before same reason
