What exactly is linux? i know its an operating system, but if i needed to install wireless drivers, the website only supplies them for windows, any ideas? :S

Usually you don't need to install network drivers. However if it doesn't work, depending on the distribution you get, you can install ndiswrapper that allows you to use a windows driver.
Or you can just install (check out my informer articles relating to booting from a thumbdrive+others) and check to see.. 99% of the time they're just gonna work w/o issue.
