I don't quite understand the issue with the Crown Chat, if the moderators want a chat of their own, they have every right to, just like you have your own.

Different chat channels, different rules. Just because the rsbandb chat is open to everybody doesn't mean the same should apply to ALL others.
It's just like what certain clans do, if you don't have the requirements/aren't a member, some clans will kick you. It's elitist, but if the mods want a cc, they should be able to have one.
Not that I endorse how they act, but if P-Mods want their own chat, they should be able to have one.
Yes fair enough it's their clan chat or whatever, but to be honest, they aren't the most polite people to speak to. Eg, you go in there asking for help from a mod, and they tell you to go elsewhere...
Shouldn't all pmods be there for help instead of telling you to get lost?

In the end, player moderators are players, just as you are. They do not want to spend all their time helping people out. If that chat gives them an 'escape' then who are we to say otherwise?

Pmods are players first, moderators second. While they shouldn't have any special privacy privileges, they should be able to decide the company they keep in CC, just like everyone else.
It's not an 'escape' apparently, the mods in the chat say it is a "mod training cc". They say the chat is for new pmods that need help starting up. I don't see why new pmods should need any help tho:$
If they really wanted it to be private, why don't they make it so only ranked members can join and make a recruitment post on the forums saying 'mods only can join'?
^cause it's not setup or owned by any pmods.
the older mentor pmods are merely ranked in there to help out the newly crowned pmods getting used to the way the jmods want us to handle things.
a jmod runs it offa an account specifically made for it. dunno if it has a jmod or pmod crown at all, but even so it's still controlled by the jmods.
regular players were not even to know it existed.
