Honestly I'd rather have a bug-free update than one that caused my Java instance in my browser to crash. Or for people to get a disproportional amount of clues. Or something else economy-ruining.
Software development is unpredictable. The only way to avoid this would be to give no twitter hints and no behind the scenes. It would happen but no one would know :P
I think the BTS is a very great idea. Ideas are to be released during the month so if something goes wrong, they still have the rest of the month to fix it. I'm totally fine with two updates. :P
