i do them for rewards, i think it's always been that way. from what i've seen, not just lately, years back, many people asked which quests were 'worth doing' in terms of rewards.
yea very few people actually read thru the dialogue to know anything at all about what they are doing, most just rapid click thru chattter & wait until a guide is made for every step of them.
