whenever i click the play now button on the home page it loads the url but just gives me a black screen. so if anyone has an idea let me know.

Try updating your Java.

How long have you waited at that black screen? Sometimes it can take a minute or more for anything to happen. Failing this, ensure your Java is updated. If this doesn't work, try another browser.
