Yeh, I use safemode for group events and stuff, like godwars and PvP run-ins. For solo things I used DirectX lowest settings though, but for quests the highest.
Why switch around so much? Doesn't make sense, but that might be because HD runs better than SD on my desktop... and Mac, so I just stay in HD resizable. :P
