really dont know why people are flaming, it really has not changed the game just given it a little spice.
> Healing Spells
> Monsters can deal faster damage
> Smithing updates (attachments onto armour eg. increase HP by 1.5% on each item)
> Sacrifying Health for attack bonuses
> New Special attacks
> More team based activities
> Monsters can now reduce maximum potential HP without effecting combat overly
The main updates could be based around effects and rate of attack
Any1 have any more?
An entire new generation of Runescape combat will come about, as opposed to the 'loosely turn based' combat that currently exists.
Heck they could now make agility updates that allow you to attack faster & duel wield. Although not without increasing monster HP or reducing damage dealt
They could even make all forms of weapons somewhat favourable. For example, at the moment no one has a use for a rune dagger, or even a rune mace. More HP allows for greater innovation
I'm hoping I will have to refer back to this post at some stage and realise that my predictions were true.
Anyway, please feel free to include your own suggestions relating to HP update
Another good one.
>HP potions. Increases constitution level, therefore increasing your maximum Health Points. Similar to God Potions, but much more freedom
> Adding condiments etc to food to increase amount healed. Eg Lobsters currently heal 120 > Add butter now heals 127
Food could also heal HP over time
Jagex please read my post
> Armour attachments to reduce your overall HP but increase your rate of attack.
> Arrow damage could drain hp over time (simulating arrow stuck in skin)
> Environmental damage (rocks falling)
> Heavier/larger armour could reduce HP slightly but increase Defence.
> Armour and weapons that cause damage to the user
> All armour damages (causing slightly more damage against you)
If anyone would like to contribute, or even comment please feel free. :)
This update has got me really excited. Going to try and come up with other additions. Let me know what you guys think.
Many future expansions are generic rip offs of other MMO's, namely World of Warcraft.
But its not nessecarily a bad thing, Runescape will still be Runescape
